I couldn't be happier the job Rachael Garra did on my conveyancing. With 53% of Sydney properties having major defects Inam glad I contacted Dennis and Rachael for expert advice.
The Team at Open House Conveyancing has been incredible. I am pretty young and don’t have much knowledge on buying properties although Open House Conveyancing answered all of my questions and were very patient and kind to me throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend to anyone!
Would definitely recommend Open House Conveying and use them again. Dennis and Racheal were a massive help and took the time to explain and sort out everything for us.
We chose Open House Conveyancing for the sale of our first home in the ACT as we liked the idea of being able to complete the Conveyancing process online and through phone communication, rather than in-person (particularly as we relocated to Victoria prior to the sale of our house). Racheal and Dennis provided excellent communication, advice that was easy to understand and we felt as though they looked after our best interests. The whole process was smooth and hassle-free. I'd recommend Open House Conveyancing and would happily use them again in the future. Thank you Dennis and Racheal!
Parramatta's CBD has seen a rise in inner-city residential and mixed-use developments in recent years. This includes the luxurious 'Altitude' on Church Street and 'V by Crown' on Macquarie Street. The latter boasts resort facilities and a roof top bar.
Development doesn't look like showing down either, with Parramatta Council planning several major works over the coming 12 months.
Parramatta is a historic town with a rich colonial history. It was chosen by Governor Arthur Phillip in 1788 as the colonial farming settlement. The 3.5km Parramatta River walk maps out the journey of Governor Arthur Phillip, as he travelled upriver from Sydney Cove to establish Australia's second European settlement. Visitors can walk the track under the historic Lennox Bridge to The Crescent in Parramatta Park where Governor Phillip first landed.
Artwork along the Parramatta River walk, by Ngemba artist Jamie Eastwood, depicts settlement of the Europeans and the displacement of the Burramattagul people who were native to Parramatta.
Old Government House in Parramatta Park is the oldest surviving public building in Australia and is a World Heritage Listed Museum. Home to the first 10 Governors of the colony, Old Government House now proudly displays Australia's largest collection of early colonial furniture.
Parramatta is 24 kilometres from the Sydney CBD and is easily accessed by train, ferry or car.
The train from Central Station is about 25min and the drive by car is 30min. The ferry to Parramatta from Circular Quay is longer, at around 85min, but includes spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
It’s easy to get around on the free CBD shuttle bus route that does a loop around the Parramatta CBD from to the Transport interchange. The free shuttle service runs 7 days a week.
